The
general assembly is the supreme body of KIA and is comprised of regular
members.
The
board of directors is composed of the President, Vice-Presidents,
Auditors, Directors of committees and subcommittees, and Fellow Directors.
The Board is responsible for resolving issues regarding the management
and operation of the KIA and to execute the resolutions of the General
Assembly.
Regular
members may choose to participate in the activities of various subcommittees:
Architectural Design Subcommittee, Architectural History Subcommittee,
Architectural Criticism Subcommittee, and Architectural Education
Subcommittee.
The
siz committees responsible for the day to day operation and management
of the KIA are: Planning Committee, Finance Committee, Publication
Committee, International Affairs Committee, Public Relations Committee,
and Information Management Committee.
The
Special Committees are: Architects' Festival Executive Committee,
Special Award Committee, Membership Review Committee, Fund Management
Committee, and Ethics Committee.
Regional
and overseas chapters are founded in affiliation with the KIAs founding
chapter to provide architectural and community services. Currently
artive are Gyeonggi Chapter, Gwangju Chapter, Daegu Chapter, Daejeon
Chapter, Busan Chapter, Ulsan Chapter, Jeju Chapter, Chungbuk Chapter,
as well as two overseas chapters in Paris and Chicago.
