-Young Architects‘ Design Sessions 신설

2018년 10월 23일(화)～26일(금)까지 평창 알펜시아리조트에서 제12회 아시아건축교류 국제심포지엄(12th ISAIA)이 개최됩니다. ISAIA는 대한건축학회, 중국건축학회, 일본건축학회 3단체가 격년마다 공동 주최하는 아시아의 국제심포지엄으로 올해는 대한건축학회의 주관으로 행사가 개최됩니다.

본 대회는 아시아 10여 개국의 건축 관련 교수, 엔지니어, 연구원, 대학원생 등이 전공분야별로 연구된 논문을 발표하고 그 발표를 통해 정보를 교환하고 공유할 수 있는 학술의 장이며, 현재 이슈가 되고 있는 현안들을 각 국의 건축인들이 참석하여 심도 있는 논의를 통해 문제점 및 대안을 토론하게 됩니다. 또한, 유명 석학이나 건축가들의 기조연설을 통해 앞으로 나가야할 선진 건축문화와 건축기술을 배우는 기회가 되어 우리나라의 건설기술, 건축문화의 선진화에 큰 도움이 되는 교류의 장이 될 것입니다. 특히 이번 대회에는 기존 학술행사와 더불어 Young Architects‘ Design Sessions이 신설되었습니다. 젊은 건축가들의 적극적인 참여도 부탁드립니다.

이에 12th ISAIA의 일정을 공지하여 드리오니, 많은 관심과 참여 부탁드립니다.

The highlights of the 12th ISAIA will be the Keynote Lectures, Academic and Special Sessions. You are cordially invited to contribute papers to the Academic Sessions of the 12th ISAIA. Please be informed on the following instructions for preparing the manuscript.

* Young Architects‘ Design Sessions:

The ISAIA 2018 invites young architects and designers in Asia to submit their fresh architectural works and ideas for an exhibition during the 12th ISAIA in October. It is a unique opportunity to showcase young architects’ works to celebrate fresh architectural thinking, experimentation, research and recent completed work in relation to the symposium theme.

[First Entry Submission: Abstract Submission]

All entrants are required to submit an abstract with two A4 size images and descriptions that describe the completed work. The A4 size images can be visual diagrams, illustrations, 3D representations and the photos of physical models. The local organizing committee of the 12th ISAIA will review all entrants and select works. The short listed entries will be notified in June.

[Exhibition]

The selected works will be invited to display one A1 Landscape formatted board together with a brief CV for press and publicity use. The selected entries will be notified by email of further information for the coordination of the exhibition.

* Abstract Submission:

Authors are requested to submit abstracts. The abstracts will be accepted only through the website of http://isaia2018.aik.or.kr

* Submission of Full Papers:

The length of the full paper is recommended in 2 or 4 pages of A4-size. The maximum length of the paper should not exceed 6 pages including spaces, figures, tables and references.

The manuscript should be arranged as follows;

1) Title, 2) Names of the authors, 3) Affiliation of the authors, 4) Abstract : max. of 300 words, 5) Keywords : up to 5, 6) Main text and 7) References.

* All submitted papers will be reviewed and selected by the Session Organizer of 12th ISAIA. The selected papers & design works will be published in the proceedings and presented at the symposium.

* Excellent presentations will be awarded.
