The School of Architecture, Tianjin University and the Chinese press group, Urban Environmental Design (UED), announce the fifth edition of the international competition open to students of architecture worldwide: UIA - HYP Cup 2016. The competition is organized with the support of the UIA.

PRIZES

Twelve prizes will be awarded. A First Prize of around 15,000 US $; three Second Prizes of around 5,000 US $ each; eight Third Prizes of around 1,700 US $ each. Twenty Honorable Mentions will also be awarded. Moreover, the winners will have the opportunity of working in a prestigious architectural firm.

Deadline for the reception of projects by the organizers: 31 August 2016

Announcement of results: September 2016

PARTICIPATION PROCEDURE

The competition is open to students enrolled in a recognized school of architecture. The language of the competition is English. There is no registration fee. The projects, in digital form, should be sent by e-mail.
